I'm wondering if you guys "check up" on the car periodically during storage. Mine is going to be in my garage at home. Should I look under the hood/interior every couple of weeks or should I just leave it closed up until spring? I'm thinking if I check it I could maybe catch a problem before it gets real bad.

I respectfully disagree. I had a rodent enter my garage by chewing through the rubber door sweep. The only other evidence was that he also chewed through the AC power cord to the ultrasonic unit (which of course, killed him).
