Hi,
I have a radar holder that attaches to the mirror it (the mirror) has no screws(04-C-5) there is a gap in the mirror where it slides in.It fits in fine and to keep it there I have tried crazy glue etc. Lasts a day or so anybody use this or have any ideas?
John
At an office supply house, they sell a double stick foam tape the you can use instead of glue. However, the excess heat when the car is parked in the sun may cause some lose of quality in how the tape holds.
This tape comes in rolls and precut pices and in different widths. In the end, this will solve your problem if you clean the surfaces well before applying the tape.
Oh, make sure it is aligned before the surfaces touch as moving it is almost impossibile.
John,I hope you are not using crazy glue on you rear view mirror
Not on the mirror itself, on the stem there is a groove that I tried crazy glue. It lasted a day and wiggle loose.I like the radar right under the mirror as my old eyes can see it better
