BTW, had to laugh at the thread heading. I was afraid to even guess what might be inside!

smell, not as strong as when I got it, but still there. I attribute this to not
eating or even allowing any hot, prepared foods in the car, not keeping
anything in the car thats not always there in the first place, and keeping
the windows up when I'm not in it (but I'll admit, I have broke wind in the
car and amazingly it still smells new
). I had a similar situation like your describing with my last vette but I was
not nearly as particular with it as I have been with this one. Hope you
can eliminate it (no pun intended).

You may be having one of the C5 commom problems. I recommend checking the passengers carpet and jute underlayment for being wet and may have mildew on the underlayment! The water could have come in from a number of ways but the most common one is through a plugged up AC/Heater box drain.
If the drain plugs up it backs up into the passengers foot well and the carpet underlayment acts like a sponge. The area directly under the passengers seat will be wet, start to mildew and will start to smell bad!
The drivers side can also get wet if the windshield cowl drains clogg up.
I recommend removing the passengers carpet and checking the carpet and jute underlayment for moisture and the cause of the bad smell.

It would help cover your uncontrolable flatulence.
