I order from both of them. No problems with the orders. I just wish Mid America would start sending me the C5 catalog and not the C4 catalog. I keep telling them to change it, but still get the old catalog.

Anyone far superior to these guys?
I've ordered from both and returned items to both with no problems. Especilly MA. I returned a product to one of their suppliers directly and it didn't get credited to my AmX. Called MA customer service and they took care of it in a few hours. No question asked return policy is the most important thing to me.

I have ordered from both like some of the other members. I prefer MA over Eckler's - prices are comparable but MA seems to get the stuff to me faster.

Both can be pricey on many things they sell. It just depends on the specific item and the source. Sometimes you see GM items being sold for instance. For these you can go to Beans or Fichtner and save a lot. Some of the other items on the other hand are manufactured by the company themselves. Eckler's for example does a lot of it's own fiberglass items and also handles repro items that are no longer manufactured by GM. This is good for the C1-C3 guys especially.
It really boils down to being as informed a buyer as you can.

I have bought a ton from Ecklers, ok price, fast shipping, and great customer support. I did have a predator that slowed down my car and made it fall on it's face @ 6k. Returned it with out much hastle. On the phone they are great too. My .02$

Default Eckler's Attitude

I stopped at Ecklers last week. This is the first and last time I'll do business with them. The young guy working at the retail counter had the absoulte worst attitude I've ever encountered in a retail clerk. He was sullen, obnoxious and disrespectful. I was planning to spend several hundred dollars. I left without spending a dime. I will not do any business with Ecklers in the future.

I've always had good luck with both of these vendors. Depending on what you are looking for, some of the other forum vendors may offer better pricing.

Did Jason tell you his dog died that day.. His GF ran off with a HariKrishna... and he just developed Herpies?
Give them another chance.. Jason was trying to hold back.. he didnt want to tell you his problems... they just came across in his attitude that day...

Too bad one pinhead with a bad attitude soured you on a vendor. I'll bet that guy doesn't even work there anymore! Or. maybe he was having a real bad day - it happens to all of us!
