Had great experience ordering from Ecklers...everything I've ever ordered from MA was junk and I'll not order from them again.

I have ordered all my parts from MA. I have received good advice about ordering the right muffler system. Received a part that I did not order and they said to keep it! Also, was not satisfied with a part and they sent another, no cost. My only beef is the minimum shipping cost. I buy 8 oz. worth of product and they put in a catalog and other leaflets and I spend $5 for shipping.
So,I made my list, went to Funfest , and ordered when shipping was free. I only live an hour away.

I have bought from both and had excellent experiences. As a matter of fact, I like them so much, I personally went to both places and gave every employee a big sloppy wet kiss on the mouth.

Both are good but I think MA has more stuff and cheaper prices.

I ordered a Euro rear light kit from Ecklers...all the way to the UK and when I came to fit it to pass the compulsory SVA test, guess what, no bulbs! I e-mailed them and requested they send me the missing bulbs but didn't even get a response so they lose my future custom. Jim Pace lost my future custom for a similar error they declined to remedy (sending the wrong K&N FIPK filter kit)

Mid-America sent their order in full, excellent quality and very quick and it was all there. They even sent me a new catalogue all the way to the UK. They just need to expand their range a bit as it's still difficult finding just one dealer who stocks everything.

Both are fine. You'll actually do well with them, and you'll be fine with any forum supporting vendor.

Both of these guys, as well as West Coast Corvette and LAPD, are all great. GM Parts Direct are the ones you have to watch. They are very very S L O W!

Based on LuS1fer's recommendation I have just put in my first order with MA. Currently awaiting the arrival of a few 'test' bits and bobs to see what happens.

I've also ordered from COH twice. The first time was excellent, everything arrived within two days (and I live in rural France, Wales is SO not out of the way . .), but second time around things are not going so well . . after more than a month they haven't shipped yet: at least they haven't charged my credit card either.

Haven't tried to use Ecklers yet, and I shall bear in mind the thoughts about West Coast too.

I have ordered from both Eckler's and MA. Srevice at Ecklers was perfect and the people were super nice. My experience with MA was not so perfect and I didn't care for the we don't need your business attitude. I have also had great experiences with Corvette Garage, A&A Corvettes and West Coast.

Odd. I recommended Corvettes Of Houston to a friend of mine for the column lock and they now tell him they don't send outside the US. Very odd as they delivered my order within 7 days. As for LAPD, they wouldn't deal outside the US either so, in the words of the prophet, stuff them. Thunder Racing similar - wanted cash only! That's as good as saying we don't want your damn custom. Damned annoying when you've spent an hour or so perusing the website and carefully selecting bits and pieces for your Z06.

No doubt they can afford to miss out on orders but at least others are there to capitalise. MAM is one of the few vendors where you can order outside the US via their website (which gives mailing options outside the US) and it's all done and dusted and they're on your doorstep within 7 days.

West Coast Corvette will do a non-US order but you have to fax, the website won't accommodate beyond the US, but they're a little pricey in some departments.

Don't forget West Coast Corvette. They are another great firm that will give you an additional 10 % discount off their already competitive prices on many items for being a CF member.

I've bought a lot from all of them - WCC, Eckler's and MA. I just shop around between them.

90% of my stuff is ordered from MAM - has been a great experience consistently. I ordered every single replacement / upgrade for my C4 through them (from seat covers through mechanicals), they were more than willing to help with ideas / troubleshooting, swaps, etc...

I would just say be careful that you know exactly what you order. I ordered a $500 console + shipping when it came i was not happy with the finish, or should i say lack off. I returned it they said they would wave %15 percent restocking (thats $75) I had to reship back total out of pocket with no console, $82 dollars......... Expesive lesson for depending on RK sports selling only quality.... needless to say i'll be more carefull on mail ordering

I ordered a batterty tender, car cover, and convertible top cleaner through Ecklers within the last two months. The issue I had was that the cover was on back order and the web page did not tell me that. I received an email order confirmation and all it said was that the other stuff had been shipped but the car cover was coming from a different facility so they did not have shipping information available. I waited about a week and then called customer service. The woman I dealt with was extremely professional and helpful. She was the one that told me it was on backorder. She called the supplier, found out that there was no estimate on a ship date yet, but the same cover in the color tan was available. She changed my order and I had the cover within 3 days.

So the moral of my story is that Ecklers customer service is good, but don't trust their web page to tell you too much.
