Default Corvette Museum

When I ordered my vette in august of 02 I knew I wanted to get the museum delivery but I also did not want to wait to get it so I just picked her up at the dealership-big mistake,I have regreted it since that day,I have decided to go for the second chance program that the museum has and I have made the reservations,I am going to Bowling Green on the 21st to have the day of my life and I can't wait..

Cool indeed! That's a fair price and helps support the museum.

I'm sure you will really enjoy the experience. I may end up doing it some day with my current car.

I think you will find this to be an "Xperience" that you will remember for many years to come. My wife and I along with our neighbors and friends attended the NCM R8C/Xperience reunion held Sept 29 to Oct 2 and had a great time. There was another couple there that was soon to take their 8th NCM delivery on a new C6. IMO, this pretty much says it all. Enjoy the "Xperience"!

BTW, here's the link to my thread where I posted some pic of the reunion: R8C/NCM Xperience Reunion Pics.

Hope to see you at the next reunion in 2006!

I did the NCM Xperience with my black vette about 1 year ago, Oct 13, 2003. It is a cool deal. And they'll leave you with a NCM Xperience sticker in your door jam, similar to the R8C sticker the museum puts there.

It's people like sharpvet03, the many others here who have taken NCM delivery or participated in the NCM Xperience, the NCM members and the many other unselfish supporters of the Museum that make it the great place that it is. And, it's largely due to the support of these people that the Museum exists and is open to everyone to enjoy even you.

Yet another reason I love the Forum! I didn't know you could do this, and when I bought a used Vette I thought my opportunity for museum delivery was gone. Thanks for this post!

...and a Corvette is a lot of money to spend on a car. There's something to be said for the non-quantifiable benefits.

It's the private tour of the plant and museum that make this a worthwhile event

We did the Experience in May before CI IV. It was the greatest "experience" we have had with the 'vette. Gary and his crew see to it that you are really treated first class. Money well spent!!

I was just there this past week, and saw two C5's on display with their owner's names on signs, next to a new black C6 ready for Museum Delivery. I had to ask one of the guys working there what it was all about. The NCM Experience is very cool and worth the $350 in my opinion. It's a lot more than a detail job and the "trinkets", and even more than the private tours of the plant and museum.

It's the experience of having your car on display for everyone and to get that personal attention.

But most importantly - it serves to support the museum. This museum is the history and legacy that makes the Corvette what it is.

The two previous visits I made to the Museum were before I owned a Vette. Now that I do, I have a much different feeling about the Museum. I feel like it represents me and people like me. I just wish I lived a little closer.....
