If my tach can be trusted, the stock shift points seemed to be around 5700rpm. Definitely too low for best performance, since the LS1 loves to rev out to the limiter for better ETs. The limiter should be around 6200 or 6250 (I know it was 6250 on my 98 LS1 Firebird)
I had my C5 dyno tuned shortly after I bought it, and had the shift points raised up by 3 or 4mph. This brings it out to around 6000rpm now. I'd like to get it bumped up just a little more the next time I get the tuning tweaked.
