Fuel Door Won't Open ...
Traction Control button works, but no illumination. Anyone know if there's a fuse, other than 31 or 34 in the compartment fuse box? I checked those two & they were ok. It worked fine earlier .... now ... nada? My car's in pieces. I checked the connection, took the Fuel Door plug out, seats fine in the plug, etc. I'm glad I just filled up, but I'd hate to have to start using the manual release every time.
EDIT *** Sorry. I meant I checked 32.

My 04' owner manual says fuse 32 is the fuel tank door
I had the same problem with my 97. Got tired of using the manual fuel door release so I ran a new wire from the switch by the shifter to the fuel door release mechanism and it has worked great ever since. Of course thie was an oversimplification of the procedure; check things out with voltmeter, remove carpeting along side, cut existing wire from switch to door mechanism. Must have had a break in the original wire to the fuel door.
