Coloumn
Has anyone had the coloumn lock problem or had it fixed? I got the recall in the mail and I wanted to know if I should take the time to go have somebody driving my car.

There have been many posts over time about the column lock issue. The concensus is eventually it will be a problem. The recall probably should be done so its on the record as being done (if you have any special tuning done to car you will lose it, so that could be a consideration). However, the recall doesnt actually fix the potential problem (just makes sure that you cannot accelerate if the column locks and wont unlock) and its highly recommended to install a column lock bypass (available through most supporting vendor's of the forum) whether or not the recall has been done.
