These others below are a bit old and before the revision to the driver side header. One poster was used rubber mallet. This is NOT necessary.
It is also only necessary to disconnect the steering linkage at it's lowest point and move it aside. No need to remove the entire shaft. When you get the car on ramps be sure that the front wheels are dead straight and you allow the steering column to lock when you switch the car off.
