Bill Heard Chevy again
I'm fairly confident they don't have 1 car more as a result of what happened in Florida. In fact, sales have risen as people replace damaged cars and dealerships here are offering special discounts to anyone with a storm damaged vehicle.
Oh, and you can order C6s here for $1,000 over dealer invoice, too.
So shove it Bill!!!!

And my opinion, if you are in central Fl, DO NOT by from Micheal Holley (sp? Holly) in Lakeland. I have had nothing but the worst service from them. I would never use them again.
If you are in Seattle, I would definately recommend Lee Johnston Chevy in Kirkland. They are incredible. PM me if you want specifics on my exp.

Here is the short story:
I bought my vette used from Bill Heard. I stole this Vette from them
. It only had 3,500 miles on it when I bought it The Service department on the other hand was hit & miss. They were really good at 1st. Then it started to go down hill from there.
. I've changed dealerships since then. 1st because Bill Heard was too far and 2nd because all the good men in the service department left.
To be honest the other 2 dealer service departments I tried are not much better
Finally, gave Ferman a 2nd chance and it has been the best choice I made

Just to be fair, let me elaborate on my original statement.
I almost bought a vette from them. I had one picked out, and the deal was almost done, they had my check. But, I had not signed any paper work.
As I am about to sign said paperwork, I notice 5 or 6 guys under the hood of the vette. I told the salesman I wanted to find out what was going on before I signed anything. Turns out the car was in "limp mode" before I even got it off the lot.
As you could imagine, I refused to buy that car. They said they would have another one for me tomorrow. Tomorrow came, and they said there was one in Vegas. I said I wanted to see the car before buying it. They said they could not bring it down with out me buying it.
I told him there was one or two from other local dealers I would look at. He said no one does dealer trades on vettes. I told him at 10 am I would be down later that day around 4 pm to pick up my check.
At about 2 that afternoon, I got a call from my bank asking me if I want them to cash the check for Bill Heard. I told the bank cashier to destroy the check. Apparently the sales person was the one trying to cash the check.
I took my business to another dealer.
As far as service goes. I have found most dealers suck. I could go on and on about my service experiences. I wish I could find a local dealer that has a tech that specializes in vettes. It seems a lot of the regular mechanics don't understand/follow the unique corvette service procedures.
Good Luck,

Company Advertising
The company's most recent promotion, conducted in July 2003, offers a $10,000.00 payback certificate to purchasers of new and used automobiles. The BBB contacted Bill Heard Chevrolet on July 18, asking for the terms and conditions related to the promotion. According to a copy of the payback voucher provided to the BBB by Bill Heard Chevrolet, the recipient of the voucher must submit an "initial registration" by signing and photocopying both sides of the voucher and sending it by certified mail, postmarked within 7 days of receipt, to Americorp Financial, LLC located at 200 Clinton Avenue, Suite 507 Huntsville, AL 35801.
To claim the $10,000.00 the customer must wait until 25 years of the issue date of the original voucher pass. The customer must submit the voucher within 7 days of the 25th Anniversary and it must be sent to the trust at the same address, accompanied by the original invoice or receipt from the purchase/lease/finance of the automobile, receipts depicting proof of payment on the vehicle, certified postal receipts verifying the original mailing of the initial registration as well as a certified copy of their birth certificate.
Circumstances where the company will not accept and process an initial registration and claim include, but are not limited to:
1. If you are reminded, encouraged or assisted to make an initial registration or claim by any individual, organization, company or reminder service whether profit making or not.
2. If the merchant (Bill Heard Chevrolet) fails to issue vouchers or make payments to Americorp Financial, LLC
3. If the vehicle was returned or refunded within a 12 month period from the issue date of the item
4. If the initial registration and claim time limits have not strictly complied with and in the postal manner specified above.
The voucher also states that Americorp Financial, LLC is the final arbiter in all matters relating to the voucher and are exclusively responsible for making payment to the customer. The merchant has no obligation or responsibility to the customer.
On July 31, 2003 the BBB received a letter from Earl Hudson, General Manager of Bill Heard Chevrolet stating that the $10,000 payback promotion would discontinue.
On June 18, 2002, the Better Business Bureau contacted Bill Heard Chevrolet regarding the company's billboard promotion for a Buy One Get One Free Sale. The billboards stated "Buy a Tahoe, Get a Cavalier Free." The billboards also included fine print at the bottom. The BBB asked the company's management to provide the conditions related to the sale. On July 1, 2002 the BBB received a letter from General Manager Earl Hudson indicating that the billboards would be removed

) I whispered to Tom that I had his second set of keys in my purse just in case we were buying tonight and he gave me a KISS...We both said at the same time, lets go find the truck and get the hell outta here...part two...WE DID FIND HIS TRUCK TUCKED SO FAR OUT OF SIGHT YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE IT--we got in the truck and proceeded out of that HELL experience and the next thing we know we are facing a Security Guard booth ordering us to surrender THEIR, (OUR) vehicle or they would call the Police. Tom and I told them to get out of our way--I know this a long drawn out story but just damn! We left and Tom bought the same vehicle from someone that is noted to be no BS in Seally, TX--the owner there bought Tom's 1997 truck for himself and Tom got his pewter cheaper with no BS! Now, he has a new Victory Red one!!There is my
on Bill Heard...never again
On the other hand, maybe the cars being diverted to TX (and other Heard dealerships) is because they actually "were" delivered to FL, and didn't make it through the hurricanes unscathed. Check those waterlines!!!
Honestly, who in their right mind would buy a vehicle, especially a Corvette, from Bill Heard???
