OK...here I am ready to install my Silverstars and I find the headlight has 2 bulbs. The literature with the Silverstars says this halogen upgrade replaces both low and high beam. So......which bulb do I take out? Both? and only put one back in? Or do i need 4 Silverstars??????
According to the Silverstar web site, you need four bulbs (2 low, 2 high)
9005 & 9006 are the high and low beam bulbs respectively.
However, they're listing a 9004 with 50/70 watts and a 9007 with 60/70 watts as well. If you have one of those, I have NO idea what the hell you're supposed to do.
It is true, you need 4 bulbs. I was confused by all the posts about spending only $38. I guess most people don't bother to do the high beams. I went back and got the other set for the high beams.
The trickiest part is getting the socket back into the hole! It's another small hands job.
I will be using the car this evening so I will file a report tomorrow.
Better, but barely worth the cost. I tried at one point.
Did it myself, slightly better whiter light. Fortunately I got a great deal on a set of 4 Silverstars, otherwise I would have been really unhappy. The stock lights just suck.

Did all four also, slightly better whiter light. Fortunately I got a great deal on the Silverstars, otherwise I would have been really unhappy. The stock lights just suck, no matter what's in them.
