[Z06] Question about the 04 CE

Default Question about the 04 CE

How many Z06 CE's did Chevy produce? What is the difference in them from other 04 Z06's besides the hood stripes and the lighter hood? I am thinking about maybe buying me one this coming February or January.

There were 2025 Produced and besides the Lemans Blue Color, Stripes and Carbon Fiber Hood they had Higly Polished Wheels (Chrom-like look to them but not chromed) and various special logo and embroidery. Basically thats about the differences between the CE and Regular Z06. I assume you are looking for a used one if waiting until Jan/Feb. You can probably locate a few new ones at some dealers around the country right now at great prices.

Also...........the Sachs shocks specifically tuned at the Nurenbergring for the Z06/Z16 only!!!

Yes, I believe you can remove the decals without a problem. Hairdryer or heatgun helps to loosen up the adhesive, then you can use an adhesive remover like 3M's to remove leftover adhesive. Of course the added (not what you asked for) is this will deminish the cars value being a CE.
