Noise when turning off engine ???

Default Noise when turning off engine ???
I have a 2002 conv. I notice that when I turn off the engine and the car is not in gear, clutch is out, I get a rattle from under the car as the engine spins to a stop. Does this indicate a problem????

No problem. Just a characteristic of the rear-mounted tranny. As you indicated, you need to keep the clutch pressed in when you shut it off.

In the manual it tells you to shift into reverse and hold the clutch in than turn the key off, no noise since i started doing that.
