"Hydrolock" Update...
I came around a blind corner 2 weeks ago that had a ton of standing water and BAM!!!
Been putting off looking at the car 'till now 'cause I knew it'd be bad.
When I yanked the intake and air bridge early in the week, it was soaked so I feared the worst!
And not to be disappointed, here's what I found:

Damn, Mark. Quite a pond you created there.
Have you pulled the plugs and cranked it to see what's in the cylinders yet?

That's bad news
Standing water is a big fear of mine since I'm running a BP bottom feeder intake. Even when the rain has started to dry up you're still at risk. Hope it's not as bad as it looks.

I think you'll be ok, that water was acting as a restriction in your air intake and thats why your engine was running like sheet but from the looks of things it was a very close call

There is a good chance that the intercoolers and associated piping trapped all of the water and no significant amount made it to the block. If any made it to the MAS, it very easily could have burned it out. Good luck with it and I hope for the best for you

Just out of curiosity, when you hit the water, did you shut it down and tow it back or keep on driving?
Hope everythings dry inside and it's only what we see.
Good Luck,
Mark

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully it did not do any serious damage to the engine. Best of luck with this.
