Oil Temp?
Out on the open road what temp does your oil usually stay at?

200F - 210F .. but I've come to realize mine runs hot.
my coolant temp (as long as I've turned on the A/C) stays at around 195F
This is driving on the hwy, at 80ish btw.

Obviously depends somewhat on the weather....usually about 200-210ish in the summer.........unless I'm in the throttle some....then it comes up pretty quick.

it runs around 200 almost all the time, did the dragon last month jumped
220 then cooled back down.

mine runs 200-220. under hard conditions i've seen it get up to 230.

Checked mine today while on a 50 mile drive. Temp was betwwen 200 and 210. Outside temp was about 45.

Normally, 210-220, but I've seen mine as high as 245.
Some of the roadracing guys are seeing 260+, and that's still within acceptable limits of the oil.

on the street, I'll usually start backing off at 250'F (notice where I've from)
on the track, i start to back off at 275, and will not let it get past 280.

Those are normal temps for a stock C5
