Online car audio Experence??????
I'm going to upgrade me entire stereo system in my 04 Vette. I have been shopping a local store and looking at prices on the internet, there is a significant difference. My question is, has anybody had any experiance with the online car Audio sites. I know crutchfield is good and the prices I have found there are no better than I can do locally. The sites I have found are acaraudio.com and onlinecarstereo.com. They have great selection and the prices are good but I was told that they often sell referb as new and that you could end up with warrenty issues if something goes wrong. 
I would like to save if I could but not at the expense of getting referb product.

just had my factory unit removed and had an alpine cda-9827 installed with polk speakers, let a local dealer do the install very pleased with the unit and the installation was under 100 dollars, saved a lot of sweat and tears. good luck with yours. btw the prices for the unit were the same in the catalogue

I bought most of my system from Ampman.com, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. About 6 months after I bought my stuff, he started having troubles and went out of business. I also bought some other things from http://www.cbrstereo.com nothing big, but they do have good prices on most of their stuff. A lot of my friends have bought from http://www.thezeb.com and they swear by this place. You can get some great deals online and save a ton by doing it yourself.
