All of the polished wheels have a clear coat finish on them. ANYTHING even slightly abrasive will mess them up big time. Never use anything on them unless it says safe for clear coated wheels.
Typically - wash the wheels like you would the rest of the car, and wax with your choice of protectant like you would your paint.

I would not use semi-chrome of any other polishing compound on the factory high polished wheels. They are clear coated and using the polish can lead to surface scratches. I just used wax on mine when I wanted to protect them.
