Default winter storage for my vert

Does it make a difference if the top is up or down for winter storage. I will be keeping my convertible in the garage for the winter. Should I put the top up or down? Anyone know?

I keep my top up. Keeps everything tight. No wrinkles, no marks.

I plan on putting my top up, but NOT latching it. IMO that will keep it tighter when i do want to latch it.

I'd latch it to keep it tight, but crack your windows 3/4" and put dessicant in the car. I found 2 bags of it at Ace Hardware last year for a few bucks a bag. Keeps it dry.

You'll hear people encouraging moth-***** around the car in the garage. I highly recommend not doing that. The smell didn't go away until summar and I took them out half way through the winter

Put down 6mil plastic and carpet squares under the tires. Get her good and clean, make sure she's completely dry before the freezing starts, and slide the cover on.

I had zero issues last year (1st year) except for the damn mothball smell

Good Luck!
