So i go out to my vette, I had just parked it less than 2 hours ago and now it wont start. Power locks opened the hatch and the doors fine. Get in, turn the key. The starter clicked a few times and then nothing. Now there is a strange buzzing comming from the passenger footwell/under the battery and the power locks are going crazy! Is this normal for just a dying battery? I have no idea why it died within 2 hours. Before that i drove it for about an hour and no problems.
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Did I break her or is it just time to upgrade to an Optima?
THANKS!

If it's the original battery, then it IS time to replace it. However, you might want to check the terminal connections. More than a few members have only needed to clean them with one of those wire brushes to solve the no-start problem.
Sounds like the battery. Try cleaning the terminals, try charging it, then you may have to try finding a new one. Optima Red Top is nice -- no leaks. Or the new AC Delco "gels."
Good topic...I get this strangeeeeee buzzing sound comming from under the steering wheel in the cold weather. I think it is linked to the fuel pump because it whines a little bit.
