I'm kind of leaning towards buying the cleartastic complete kit for C5's to reduce
damage, etc to rocker panels and wheel areas along side the car. Has anyone else applied
this type of kit to their C5? If so, how do you like it? Was it easy to apply and does it
adhere well? Can it be removed and then put back on? Is there anything better than this
product?

I've had good results with the Cleartastic product. After very careful installation, I was able to get them to stick for a 10 mile run at an average speed of 145. (legal BTW) They are much easier to apply and you will get better results at warmer temps.
For those places Cleartastic does not make protection for you can make your own out of Scotchcal. Usually these are places that are too curved and need some help sticking. The Scotchcal is not reusable, while the Cleartastic can be removed and cleaned.
oh, and BTW Cleartastic is a great vendor to deal with.
