Default dual climate conversion

The search button didn't help me. I know there was a thread about it recently but I can't find it.

Has anyone added a dual climate control to their C5 that did not come with it? If so, for how much, and how difficult was it.

Not trying to discourage you, but if I recall, it would be prohibitively expensive to do this conversion. I'm sure someone has all the details, as your question does come up fairly often.

Also consider the fact that a great many of us who do have it wish we have what you currently do. The auto climate control system sucks IMO.

3 dials and an a/c button. That's all I want and need.

I can't believe you don't like it! I have it in my 300m and love it!
Thanks for the input.

What is it about the dual climate that you don't like? I could understand that you can't really have dual climates in a small cockpit. But what about one climate whose temperature is constantly maintained? Does it do that well?

I am going to buy a vette in the near future and trying to establish which features I want. Thanks for the help.

I like mine but sorry, I am pretty certain that it's complicated to duct it in and convert to the necessary electronic sensors from the manual system.

It's fairly nice to have but most likely would not be worth the effort. Most didn't think so on this thread:
