How big are C5 drivers?

You are a bad man.
This is one of a very few cars that I push the seat slightly forward to feel comfortable making sure the clutch is fully engaged and I have a 34" inseam. The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Play around with the seat controls...there are certain positions where I"ll slide the seat bottom a bit forward and get a bit more "lean-back" in the seatback. Experiment.
Right now I'm driving a C4. I'm 6' 2", 290 lbs. Before I bought it, I thought I was just too big also. Then I did as Red_Racer suggested and slide the seat slightly forward and tilted the seatback back. That at least made it possible to live with it. When I replaced the interior, I also changed the center two springs in the seat bottom support to a lighter spring rate. That also helped. Since then I have tried out the seating in the various C5's. I find the convertible to have the best headroom, then the coupe. The Fixed Roof Coupe was the most restrictive, for me, (as far as headroom), of the C5's I sat in, but not more so than my C4.
The bottom line, for me, was I liked the car so much that I made an extra effor to live with it, and I'm glad I did. I've had it for 6 good years, so far, and until I find the C5 of my dreams, I'll continue to enjoy what I have. Note: I'm 57 years old now, so I'd better find my dream C5 soon, before I'm too old to go for it.
Have a good one and I hope this helps.

But the weight helps the cars hook up better. Besides, the TI exhausts help make up for the few extra pounds. Pass the beer and chips please.......
