Default Exhaust plate cleaning

What do you use to clean your exhaust plate to maintain the mirror effect?

I just wipe mine with a damp cloth. Shines fine. But then it rarely gets dirty!

I use Stoners Invisible Glass and a microfiber towel. You just can't have enough microfiber towels, MF gloves etc...the high end microfiber stuff is superb. I have about 30 now and growing. Color sorting your MF towels really helps. Green for glass, blue for exterior paint, white for interior. MF gloves for detailing wheels and hand applying wax, QD and glazes.

Wash and dry with a microfibre towel. Works great and doesn't scratch.

Upon washing my car the other day, I noticed my plate (which I only put on 1 month ago - $150) had developed little bubbles/bumps...not noticeable from afar...but it is close up...will these pop and rust?...does anybody else have?

What is your plate made from?
If it is stainless steel or aluminum it should not rust unless the cause of the bubbles/bumps is from metal deposits then it may rust.

I either use a microfiber towel and do when I wash the car or for a really detailed cleaning, I use NEVR-DULL. Take care,

Use a good quality 300 sand paper man, that works like a charm....

...in ruining your exhaust plate, of course

J/k.

Use soap and water and dry it. It works well for me.
