Soap and water, then dry with a chamois.

I use Stoners Invisible Glass and a microfiber towel. You just can't have enough microfiber towels, MF gloves etc...the high end microfiber stuff is superb. I have about 30 now and growing. Color sorting your MF towels really helps. Green for glass, blue for exterior paint, white for interior. MF gloves for detailing wheels and hand applying wax, QD and glazes.

Upon washing my car the other day, I noticed my plate (which I only put on 1 month ago - $150) had developed little bubbles/bumps...not noticeable from afar...but it is close up...will these pop and rust?...does anybody else have?

If it is stainless steel or aluminum it should not rust unless the cause of the bubbles/bumps is from metal deposits then it may rust.
