I use a product called Scratch Out from Adam's Polishes. It can be bought from WCC or the manufacturer. 3M also makes a good, mild scratch remover that should do the job.

Where are the paint scuffs located?
Your best bet would probably be to use a clay bar

On the passengers side mirror. It's like half in by an inch. Looks like the moron who owned th car before me rubbed against a fence or something.

I just bought a Porter Cable dual action polisher. Now I need to get some 3M #86 and do what the Detailing Dude suggests once a year.
Check out his web site http://www.thedetailingbible.com/ He did a seminar at the NCM's 10th Anniversary. Great guy and he will answer all your questions about detailing.

I've been using the GS-27 stuff (as seen on TV) and it's awesome. The other day, a guy dropped a white square pole up against Dan's (C500HP) C5, and it slid down the side, leaving a bunch of white scuffs, and he freaked out, thinking his car was all screwed up... I told him to go inside, and come back in 10 minutes. When he came back, he couldn't even tell that anything had happened.

General rule of thumb says if you can't catch your fingernail on the scratch when you run across it then it can be buffed out

Meguiar's Scratch-X worked on my '04 CE Coupe. You can get it at AutoZone & Wal-Mart.
