I have seen this posted several times, but all I did was simply pull the sticker off. Came off fairly easy and did not leave any residue.

Use a hair dryer to heat it up a little. It should peel off much easier after that.

That seems to be the most recommended method!

A hair dryer works pretty well to soften the adhesive and let you pull it off. Sometimes though they can be a real pain to get off.

Even if you hae some residue adhesive left over, Goo-Be-Gone + a clean terry towel = completes the job.

I used the hair dryer but some residue remained on my 2004. After trying a lot of different things I used balled-up duct tape and it removed all the residue.

If you decide to keep your car for many years you will wind up spending big bucks buying that sticker to put back on to make your car correct for NCRS certification. (LOL)
