I like both ideas . I have some of the metal tape. Not excited about removing the housing .
My c5 has almost 100k miles.
It sure took a long time to melt thru haha!! I guess the passenger side is not far behind
And might as well do it too. And while I'm at it change those noisy headlamp plastic gears to the metal ones that have been sitting on the kitchen counter 6 months now haha. Thanks guys
