If you're questioning the 300 mph, it comes on C5's manufactured for export. You see them on Canadian Vettes.

Yep, it's the export version for those countries that measure their speed in kilometers per hour.

I vette has the 300 mph since it is a Canadian Export vette but my speedo default to which ever measuring unit I left it in. So when I start my car, it is always in MPH because that is the one I left it in MPH

AHH!! I test drove an 01 ZO6 back when they had only been out a short time and it registered 300. I mentioned it here on the forum and everyone told me I was crazy! Hmmm...
