Mirror help.
Can I use a mirror, like one found in a trailblazer with the autodimming feature, map lights, compass, and on-star.
I want the auto dim, lights and the compass to work.
Can the mirror be wired to my 00 vette with the normal mirror, like the 01 and up vette autodimming mirror can be wired to the older vettes.

I have a '98 and everything works. It will not give you the compass feature like your Trailblzer. I have a compass in my 98 Blazer - and I can easily live without it. The Corvette mirror has the amber "night light" that I don't think the Trailblazer has - and the map lights also act as courtesy lights since there is no overhead light on a Vette.
It was actually pretty easy and these directions are very complete and accurate.
Personally - I'd rather have an O.E.M. Corvette mirror. As far as pricing - I went to Fichtner and got a great deal!

Ok, So it can be done? I am looking at an 05' impala mirror with the map light and compass, so, i am asking are the important wire colors the same, so the autodimm and lights will work?
