Just called my insurance agent to see what my insurance would be if I got rid of my Ranger and got a 1999 FRC. Turns out it would go up a whopping $90/year...man do I need to finish up with my thesis and get a job! I was real happy to hear that...I was worried it would go up like $100 a month!
I'm 25 and married BTW...my insurance dropped a ton in general when that happened!

Glad to hear that. My 2001 A4 Coupe insurance is much less than my 2000 ricer daily driver - go figure.

While it depends on your record and where you live, these cars are not ungodly expensive to insure. Sure makes it nice.

I had a 2002 Z28 a few years ago and was paying $145 p/mth at age 38 with a very clean record. When I bought my first vette ('01 vert) my ins went down to $102 p/mth. Now with the '03 coupe at age 41 it's down to $78 p/mth. Hey with this kind of pattern maybe it's time to look into a C6.....No on second thought I'm keeping my C5.
