Windshield washers and wipers
For those of you, like myself, who never use your wipers or washers, do you do anything special to keep these components working properly, just in case?

I use my wipers but I do put on some rain-x from time to time. it works great. as soon as it starts raing, you just accelerate a bit and the water just goes off your windshield.

Hard water deposits can gum up the little washer jets. The plastic jets are not available as parts, you have to purchase the entire wiper arm. So, I have always filled my washer tank with distilled water.

So - you're saying Corvettes have wipers? j/c.
Good tips on the system. I'll have to take a closer look at distilled water and maybe operate them once in a while. Thanks.
