Default Wheels and Gears

I have the window sticker from my '98 and it does not show an optional rear gear. What is the stock ratio? (it does not have Z51) Also I am interested in a future wheel upgrade to the later thin spoke design. What will work with the '98 sensors and were they available in chrome? Thanks.

If you don't see G92 on the sticker sorry to say more than likely you have the standard 2.73 gears. Unless the previous owner installed bigger gears. Your 98 sensors should work with the thin spoke wheels.

I've read that in 2001 the pressure system changed. The newer wheels still will work? Sorry, don't mean to beat the dead horse but my '90 just had wheels and tires! Thanks.

yes, and honestly you can run your sensors on ALL wheels, you just strap the sensor to the hub or the wheels that aren't made for the sensor. Yes 2001 sensors will not fit in our older cars, however they are almost identicle looking.
