Active Handling and Traction Control

Hey guys, If I were too put a H/C package into a 1999 Coupe and have about 430+ rwhp, would you have to disconnect the Active Handling and the Traction Control? I was curious cause when tunning the car you could disconnect the AH and TC.

I rather have the AC and TC on at MOST times but was told by someone that he is going to have his DSC (BMW) turned off/disconnected at all times cause it won't be good for the car when he has the S/C installed. Is this for all cars or just BMWs/Europeans?

Regardless you should be able to defeat it with the switch!

I'm putting dn 449 to the rear wheels and all is fine. There are plenty of people out there with much more than I and don't disconnet the AH or Trk control. You'll need it even more with the extra HP!!

Exactly what I thought! I will need AH and TC with that power...why disconnect? I knew the guy I was talking to was a moron. haha

Why shut it down? Leave it as is and YOU can turn it on or off whenever you feel like it and leave it on whenever you want it.

Leave it alone and it's under your control whether you use it or not at any given time.

I'd recommend it for normal driving.
