Sitting at idle my sifter vibrates slightly and as the rmps come up it'll go away then sometimes I get the hurst rattle, doesn't bug me, but just wondering if it's normal.
I had a new clutch put in last week (lots of posts about it) and it was vibrating, but after some driving it's subsided. Just trying to figure out if I have any residual or it I'm getting too nit picky.

Shifter vibration is 'normal' and varies with driveline balance quality: high quality balance = little to no vibration, low quality balance = a lot of vibration. Another issue can be damper condition and/or an isolation issue (vibrating contact: there was a TSB for this a while ago). A heavy shift **** will help dampen vibration (improving the balance and fixing any contact issues is more effective).
My (stock) 2002 Z06 had high frequency shifter vibration that increased with RPM (balance issue). It was made tolerable with an MGW (round) Gripper shift ****: http://www.mgwltd.com/corvette_gripper_shift_knob.html . I also purchased the Pistol Grip (even heavier), but preferred the round style.
Have you already fixed your clutch/flywheel balance issue?

I had a spec II clutch put in then the vibration started. Goes away at the dragstrip though.
