Default Bought my first Corvette ever!!! 2000 Yellow C5 =)

Just bought my first corvette last Saturday (just now got around to posting - lol)!!

My new baby is a 2000 Yellow coupe 6spd 55k miles almost all the options (minus telescopic steering wheel) for $22.5K! It's got a few aftermarket pieces to - blackwing, euro rear lights, 11.5in rear wheels (I guess stock rear wheels are 9.5in - is that right?), sub and amp. It's also got a bracket welded in behind the drivers and passengers sides seats with 3 threaded holes in the plates (the plates are right near the inside wall of the car right behind the seats) any idea what these were for? I was thinking maybe a strut brace or maybe a racing harness mounting point...? Oh, and there is also some steel loops sticking up on either side of both seats down on the floor that look like they might have been used for a racing harness to. Guess I'll probably have to get some pics for you guys to understand what they look like.

Nice car. From what I understand they are the mounts for the racing harness. Where in KS are you?

CAN YOU DO ME A HUGE FAVOR!

The guy you bought the car from, can you find out where he got the 11.5 inch rear wheels? Are they chrome or Polished? I have been trying to find that set up in the rear with the 2000 wheel styling. Please help me out!

THANKS,

Micah
