I always just take a few paper towels and place them under the nozzle when I take it out , after letting it drip its last drip practically. It seems like those bibs are just another thing with a vette logo on it for us to buy. IHO
I think I've heard others here have tried them and get fed up with them and toss them. Hope you don't end up doing the same.
Actually I have one and I wouldn't be without it. I use to worry about chipping the paint under the door until I installed mine. It simply folds up inside the door after you replace the gas cap and everything stays neat and clean. I love it. However, since it's out of sight and I'm pretty cheap, I went with the generic variety. Don't see a need for a logo that is hidden by the gas nozzle.
The first owner put one on my 2004 and it is very useful to prevend finish scars around the gas fill nozzle. Very handy and I have added one to the wifes Cadillac for the same reason.
i cant believe i just saw that!! i care for my car just as much as the next guy, but that?? a little over doing it
ever thought about waiting till the nozzle stops dripping? then slowly remove it, while tipping it up?? ive been doing this forever and never EVER have had any gas drip on the car!!

My car had one on it when I got it. It does protect the paint and any spills goes on it rather than the paint.
Now it does come off on occasion but I just stick it back on. It’s not that big a hassle!
amazing no one mentioned the 10hp gain you get from it
ive got the bib, a performance hood seal, and a tornado and i broke 12.50s running on 87 octane these three "mods" alone or the best of the best
