I like your pic. I had a Bullmastiff that looked like your dog at least when he was a pup. As he got older he lost some of the black in his face. He was preceded by a red Bullmastiff.
My most recent mastiff was a Neopolitan, blue in color. He didn't ride in the Vette, but he liked riding in the back of my Camaro when the seat was folded down. At 165#+, he just fit. With the tops off, he would stick his head out the top. He was 9 when he died last year.
My old German shepherd wants to ride in my truck and the wife's car, but she doesn't try to get in the Vette.
I am surprised that no one had mentioned having a cat ride in your Vette, I take him from Michigan to Fl and from FL to Michigan each year, also have him live on my boat with the family.
Maybe most Corvette owners are just dog people. I know I am.
Our male dog (Cairn Terrier - Toto) loves riding in any car, but really gets pumped when he rides in the Corvette. He also likes to help working on it too. I tuck a shop cloth under his collar and he's right there with me. Neat dog - Charlie (Chuck to his friends).
It might just be that a trunk monkey might be better than a dog as it had opposable thumbs so you could teach it to change plugs and oil.
Gotta make sure it could read the Torque Wrench settings though.
I too have dogs..no kids 2 poms & a mutt from the pound. My guys love car rides..Most of the time they come along in the truck though. It's great to see Vette people love their pets like my wife & i do. Heck, they eat better than we do...boiled chicken, veggies, fruits etc.. Someday I'll have to post pictures.
My two dachounds (weiner dogs) love to ride in all our cars. In the C5 coupe, I bring along their portable kennel which I position in the cargo bay between the seats. I leave the kennel door open and they'll lay their heads down right on the lip of the cargo area. I think they like it since its the only car in which they can look out the front.
