What car cover seems to work the best for outdoor use. I purchased the CoverCraft Weathershield HD and am disappointed with its performance. They say that no car cover is water proof, but the morning due leaks through this cover....plus it leaves fine scratches on the tops of the fenders and quarter panels.

It's def. not water proof but I have the Noah car cover and it's very good.
I have a 4 layer Wolf. Works well and have not noticed the scratch problem. Downside is that it is heavy and takes up a lot of room even when folded.
I read somewhere either here or on one of the other sites that they don't want the covers to be completely waterproof because then the water that did get thru would be trapped. Better to let some in and then let it evaporate out.
My Noah cover lasted less than two years outside. My Weathershield cover is almost six years old. It is still in good condition. It has never scratched my car.
Wolf makes many different models. One is made of the Noah fabric and another is made of the Evolution 4 fabric. There are many others. There are also othe companies that use these same fabrics other than Wolf. Kimberly-Clark makes both of these fabrics.
Wolf is a manufacturer of car covers. Noah is a type of cover fabric made by Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Kimberly-Clark makes a number of different cover fabrics used by Wolf and other manufacturers of car covers:
I've had a Noah by Wolf for over a year, including heavy snow last winter and works well and never scratched the paint. Most importantly, as someone else pointed out, you should NEVER put a cover on a dirty (even dusty) car. Use a Califonia duster or wipe it down before putting the cover on.

I am on my 3 Noah by Wolf (3 different cars) and really like the cover. It is also a h#ll of a lot easier putting it on my Vette than on my F150 SuperCrew
