Every day on my way out I drive down one main road leading to the freeway. A man who owns a midyear also travels this road, in the other direction and we tend to pass one another at least three times a week. Every time I see him, I waive and he never waves back. Untill today... I was at the left turn lane, stopped and he was traveling the other way. I had the roof off and windows down for that crisp So. Cal air and did my:
Must...suppress.....violent nature....and reply using common sense and compassion........ahh screw it, next time you see him follow him to stop light, drag him from the car and whoop the living **** out of him.
It probably isnt the right answer but for a short time at least you will feel much better.

I don't know what advice to give you.....ignore him?
I often tell my friends, that Corvettes are special, but owning one doesn't make YOU special. He's obviously a jerk-off and not worth your time or trouble. Consider the source.
Get a real vette?! Are you modded? turn the car around chase him down, and show him the tail lights of a REAL vette, maybe he'll change his mind gettin his **** whopped by a what "fake vette"? And don't tell me when you say mid year you don't mean like a firebird lookin C4? Ok, sorry that was probably a lil too far...just whoop his ****
If a "real Vette" handles like a shopping cart and gets about 10 mpg I am glad I have a fake Vette. I love the mid years but the new Vettes are the best yet. For what I spent on my ZO6 and C6 I could have had one of the best mid years built, but I like my reliability. I say keep waving at him, it will **** him off more than anything else. Maybe throw a couple revs at him when he goes by.
I'm sorry - I'm confused.
Don't YOU have a Vette? What's a "mid-year" Vette?
This makes no sense to me at all.
Please clear this up before I tell you to give him the "1-finger" salute the next time!
OK - Just saw "Stangkiller's" response - now I know what a "real" Vette is.
Where DOES he get off with THAT attitude?
Come-on, aren't we ALL "Vette" owners?
My uncle had a 1959 Corvette - the first one within 100 miles of home. I'll NEVER forget my first ride - that's why I FINALLY have mine!
Maybe the guy just has a little w.. Oh, never mind!
As you can tell from my signature picture, I also own an older vette...I actually feel like I graduated and went to the head of the Class when I added the C5, Guys like that deserve to be left back!!
This is the reason why I don't wave first. I wait for the other guy to do it, then I reciprocate. I know we're losing the tradition. But living in these days and age, you can never be too careful. One wrong look or hand gesture can ruin you day. We're living in an era of road rage and stay-out-of-my-way attitude. My 2 cents.
