Frost King progress report

Took me less than an hour to remove the carpets. A word of caution not mentioned before: be careful with the courtesy lights that are attached to the rear outboard panels near the taillights, and don't forget to make sure the emergency gas tank release is left exposed when reinstalling the side panels. Also, there are a couple of antennas for the trunk release that need to be inside dangling after it's all put back together.
I started behind the seats. It's pretty easy ... move the seats all the way forward and pull the seatbacks forward. Then move the carpet forward on either side, and install the FK. If you're gonna remove the seats later for the cabin, this is probably not necessary, but I was on a roll.
I also stuffed a little batt insulation behind the trim where the seat belt retractor is, making sure not to interfere with its operation. Also put some around the speaker, under the trim. There's a cavity on each side forward of the wheel well, behind the speaker, that I put some batt into. I've got one piece of FK sideways just aft of the seatback vertical wall, under the speaker cable. And I've put the seatback carpet back in. It fit ok. The main storage area in the middle is two feet wide, so it's probably best to run the FK fore and aft here, then piece in on the sides on the floor.
Lunchtime now ... I'll go finish later. It's going well so far, but visibility is the main problem. Cloudy, rainy day and black interior.
