Hello Everyone, i have been lurking around the forum for months, i bought a 99 FRC from a gentlemen in Memphis through this sites C5's forsale forum and had it shipped to Canada. I love the car, and love this website, just wish i did not have to store it for 5 months out of the year due to snow. How do you post pics?
Thanks for all the warm welcomes, its been in the backyard in a shelter for about a month now, its got 1 big blanket on it to keep her warm. I only had 2 weeks with her before i put it away. It had 6400 miles on it when i bought it, and within the 2-3 weeks i put a good 500-1000 miles, i could not resist! The owner before me told me he never had it past 75 miles per hour, so i took it for 2 hour run at 130 miles per hour and it went through about a liter of oil! But it was a hell of a drive, burning all these ricers up here in Canada. In Montreal where i live, only 100 new vettes per year make it to dealerships and in the province of quebec we are upwards 8,000,000 population wise. You can go weeks and weeks before seeing another vette, and people think you are in a Ferrari! Its great the broads love it!
Another Canadian Eh! Ha Ha! I am originally from Montreal. I moved out west to Vancouver in '76. Still have a brother there and the wife's parents live up north around Lake McDonald. Where abouts do you live in Montreal? Click on my avatar and private message me. And welcome to the forum it's a great place to get familiar with your car. Save the wave.

Welcome. My only advice to you is, that have thick skin on here when you post threads. People can be brutal on here. It is all in fun though so do not take it personal.......Enjoy!
