I bought the GM drilled and slotted rotors and had them installed a week ago. They really look much better than the stock rotors and didn't cost a lot. I haven't used them enough to judge how good they are, but so far they seem fine. The original rotors were taken off at 28,000 miles and they still are good enough to use. I still have the originals stored in my garage.
I also have the GM D/S rotors that I purchased form Gene at Fred Beans. My original rotors and pads with over 13K were in perfect condition when removed. As for stopping, they feel the same as stock but I'm still in the "season" process. ( 50 mph to 0 then allow to cool then repeat several times) As for looks , I painted the hats with clear, recommended by "evil-twin" and they look great. I'd recommend them and Bean's for the great price.

This could be a big detractor, unless you paint your rotor hats up front. The GM ones will rust before you know it unless you do something to them. You may want to think about Sportsbrakes for these also.
