driver's side window problem
HELP! recently, on my 2000 NBM Coupe, I noticed that the sound of the driver's door closing was different, and that the door didn't always close tightly. then I realized that the window also made a slight "thud" when I started to put it down. I am guessing that the small plastic tab -window guide? - on the targa roof panel is being hit by the window glass and knocking everything out of whack. I bought the car used about two months ago, with 15,700 miles on it, and I've added my own 2500 or so miles, but the problem just became noticeable this week.
anybody ever have a similar problem? any suggestions? the Porsche 911 and Nissan 350Z window trick, with a slight lowering when the door opens, seems like the perfect solution to this problem. thanx.

I had the same problem with mine. Turns out that the window motor had to be replaced. No problems now.
