Take the cover off of the the air cleaner, throw it on a self and hold the filter down with a couple of zip ties...probably a few step by step threads around here if you look...

I just did this and replaced the stock filter with a K&N, and it has documented by several on this forum that its good (zipt tie mod) for about 10 to 15 ponies and a tenth or so in the 1/4 mile!!!

I agree - just beware when washing your car after the zip-ty mod - water can and will pour into your air box and you can easily ingest water into your engine - be careful - a hood seal would likely solve this issue.
