Just recieved a coupon from my dealer for a "4-way" alignment sale....$62.40....what have you paid? Do Z06's need a different alignment? I know the setup makes a difference on how it handles. Anyone come up with the best settings for street driving?

A search should reveal the alignment specs. I paid $65, but it was normally $100. It was a laser alignment though. Make sure they use the ZO6 specs, not the coupe. If it's the laser Hunter machine, they have the specs in memory, but I gave them the #'s I got here from a search a while back.

Z06 alingnment specs:
Specs:
Front Individual Toe: +0.04 degree +/- 0.10 degree
Front Sum Toe: +0.08 degree +/- 0.20 degree
Front Individual Caster: +6.9 degree +/- 0.50 degree
Front Cross Caster: within +/- 0.25 degree
Front Individual Camber: -0.70 degree +/-0.50 degree
Front Cross Camber: within +/-0.25 degree
Rear Individual Toe: -0.01 degree +/- 0.10 degree
Rear Sum Toe: -0.02 degree +/- 0.20 degree
Rear Individual Camber: -0.68 degree +/- 0.50 degree
Rear Cross Camber: within +/- 0.50 degree
For a street alignment, the midline setting of each of the above is probably a good compromise between handling and wear. More negative camber will help handling, but cost inside tire wear.
Note how much variance there is in the specs though. For example, front camber can be -1.2 to -0.2. In my opinion, that is too wide a range to just walk into a dealer and say, align it to specs. I would be very specific. For example, say "I want front camber to be -0.8 degrees with no more than 0.1 difference side to side."
Batmobile,
Subdriver is right on target.
You tell the tech where you want the setings. (exact middle of the range)
I had mine aligned 8000 miles ago. I had the camber at all four corners set at .75 negative (not aggressive) and am still wearing the insides of the tires at a faster rate.
So don't go crazy with the camber. The average driver will not notice any difference on the street with more negative camber.
Alignments around here are $60 to $100.
