Default V1 Hardwire (mirror) Question?

I have a 2000 coupe. It does not have the newer style auto-adjust mirror. Is it possible to hardwire the V1 to my mirror?

The V1 doesn't 'wire' to the mirror. You will need to route the power cable from the passenger foot well up the A column to the mirror. At least this is how I did it in my 2001.

Good luck

I have hardwired my V1 to my non-dimming mirror using a cable made by forum member Teamspeed. The problem is with our mirrors there is no switched power lead. What that means is you will need to manually turn the V1 on and off. I am doing this currently and find it not to be a problem. Others will not like this. As Road Runner indicated the other option is to route the V1 wiring down to the passenger footwell and hook it up to the supplied accessory power, or add in an accessory power adapter if you don't have the wires (I think 2001 still had them just behind the glove box like in my 97.)
