When I drive my 01 convertible in about 50 degrees or less I have this awful creaking noise somewhere from dash / cowling area ( I think, it's hard to figure out where) !!!
Does anyone else have this type of noise from theirs when it's cold ??
Pretty certain it's not the fan because I only hear the noise when I hit bump / dip or something like that.
No armorall has ever been used on it.
When it's warm I don't hear it !
The top of the dash bezel, right above the radio, on my 98 vert squeaks when I hit bumps. Still trying to figure out the best way to fix it. If it's a high pitched squeak when going over a bump it's probably some of the plastic on the dash.
b4 i got me CE coupe i used 2 drive my mom's 01 coupe on occasion ..i noticed this noise u are making reference 2 ..not sure where the exact soure of the noise was..i dont think temperature was relative in that case though...i heard it day and night
I have heard the same thing. If that makes you feel a little better. I couldn't figure out what it was either. Up near the windshield. If anyone figures it out I hope they read this post and tell us what they found.
