I was washing the car today and I noticed that there is a new chip in the paint on the front facia underneath the left turn signal. It's not too big but what bothers me is that it seems like it's so deep what I see black instead of the yellow paint... It kinda looks like a hole until you actually realize that there is still some black material there.
I'd like some advise on how I could deal with this thing. Can I get some touch up paint and fill in that chip? What if I also use Lanka afterwards to get rid of the blub from the touch up paint?
Had a bit of the same problem.
I poured some of the touch up paint in a small plastic lid and let it gel up a bit then started layering it in.
After five or six applications (had to put more in the cap once) it was almost level with the surface.
A final layering, let it dry over night and scrubbed in a bit of McGuires swirl remover. Can't notice it at all.
Also fill in an occasional microchip (pebble) the same way using the end of a sharp toothpick.
Little McGuires a quick wipe with a damp close and hit it with wax. shines up great.
Seems like the touch up paint is just to "runny" and doesn't fill well. Letting it set up a bit improves the color and seems to let you keep it in place.
Good luck.

Get some GM touch up paint - it is usually a pretty good match for the paint on the car. Layer it on, letting it fully dry between coats. Then you can use something like the Langka product to smooth it down.
