Default Yet another CLB question....

I've read the numerous posts on the CLB. Is it true that the CLB will affect operation of the water temp gauge on late build date '04's?

Thanks.

Just some clarification, perhaps.

CLB = Column Lock Bypass? I have not heard that this will effect the water temp indication.

TBB = Throttle Body Bypass. This one could have an effect, but again I have not heard what that would be.

An aftermarket bypass can on some cars damage the BCM, which is expensive to replace. It does this by sending the incorrect voltages to the BCM. GM does make an approved bypass which they used for the automatic trans recalls, called the Harness K. It is a tad more expensive than aftermarket bypasses and is hareder to install but does not damage your BCM.
