I think the silver stars are the best without any MODS, but there are a few mentioned on some of the threads that I'm looking at also.
I'd like some more bright at night. Not that I want to melt anyones rear view, just that one more meter line of sight, as your back wheels are tracking your front.
You'll get quite a few responses on this one. Pick the one that spikes your interest. Besides people in this forum are friggin smart.
Sylvania SilverStars would be a marginal upgrade for the headlights and #885 50 watt bulbs for the fog lights. For the best lighting solution replace the OEM plastic headlights with the T-84 Euro glass headlights and upgrade the bulbs to 80/100 watts. You can also get great results by changing the fog lights to the Piaa 1100X lights.

Get the T84 headlights so you can use H4 bulbs. H4 = ungodly wattage (power) choices. From the meek 55/60w all the way to 135/180w. Stick with Hella or Narva bulbs. No coating, no funny gas mixture that starts with X. Straight halogen.
Get an upgraded headlight wiring harness too. You will need this more than anything to supply full voltage/current to the bulbs.
Check out http://www.rallylights.com and http://www.danielsternlighting.com. If you go to the second site and you don't mind spending a little bit more money, talk to Daniel himself about getting the harness modified so it can connect to the H4 bulbs (in the T-84) and it can also connect to the 9005/9006 plugs on the original car harness.
Don't forget to align them. 90/130w bulbs are agonizing if they are not aimed properly Good luck and don't forget to report back, I'd love to know the results.
I replaced with the Sylvania silverstars and like them alot. The range of light has not increased. However it is a far clearer view. The old lights gave a "yellowish" and soft tone to everything. The silverstars create a bright, white and crystal clear view of the road ahead.
I replaced mine with the PIAA bulbs and like the white look but they are not much brighter than stock. They are more expensive than the Sylvanias but I got them for free so...
